we require a retainer fee and signed contract to reserve a date.
remaining balance due 30 days prior to event date.
TRAVEL.
we are based in chicago.
for weddings outside of illinois we require couples to cover:
- flights for however many photographers/videographers
- rental car/cab fare
- hotel accommodations
- meal stipend
for weddings in the NY/NJ area we only require flights to be covered.
we prefer to fly out of midway airport, but o’hare is fine too.
we’re not picky about where we stay
or our means of transportation
or what we eat.
ALBUMS.
we offer two styles of albums:
- traditional leather bound (sizes up to 12×12, 50 sides)
- ‘trendy’ couture book (sizes up to 10×13, 100 sides)

we prefer to do couture books as they allow for more pages (up to 100)
and therefore more images with which to tell a more complete wedding story.
the couture books’ images are printed on fine-art paper.
the traditional album’s images are printed on a thick cardboard.
all images chosen for albums are edited.
all images included in albums are chosen by the couple.
PRINTS.
we provide all our clients with hi-resolution full-sized digital negatives
so you can print all the images you want to your heart’s desire.
copyright’s not an issue for us since we don’t believe in it.

TURNAROUND.
1-2 weeks//blog post.
3-4 weeks//discs of images at your door.
3-5 months from your order//album arrives.
4-6 months//wedding video.
ETC.
on average an 8 hour wedding will yield around 600-700 images.
we color correct all images.
we edit/process around 100 of our favorites.
and however many extra are chosen for albums.
we have insurance provided for by the company with the big red umbrella.
