okay. where to begin. there were times throughout this particular wedding day when i thought to myself, “wow. what. is. going. on.” there’s an image below that kinda sums it up. it’s an image of a corset on a man. with another man’s hand on one boob and a pin labeled, “wild”, on the other. yes…wild indeed but never out of control. this was such a fun wedding, it had me smiling from ear to ear all day. you don’t get much more chinese than this. the groom doesn’t get to see the bride so easily..ken really had to work to see ly. they made him..well, you’ll see below. apparently monopoly money wasn’t enough to buy his way through that proverbial door. then there was two separate tea ceremonies with the exchanging of many a red envelope and jewelry. and some wild kissing games at the reception (look for the hands). it was a long day. the rain came…and it went. and i suppose it’ll come again…but until then, cheers to ly and ken.

i like the split bicycle shot of the wedding party. also, cross-dressing in any wedding makes me laugh – those people know how to have fun

Ly - OH WOW!! That’s all I can say! My favorite is the sky picture…so amazing…and I love the tea ceremony sequences…so real and emotional, I feel like I can remember it all again. Thank you thank you thank you SO much Dan and David for capturing our day and creating such art.

Before seeing these snaps I had a very different perspective about Chinese weddings.. but certain snaps in here have turned that perspective upside down.. =D
